Structure weight building

STRUCTURE WEIGHT BUILDING

+ About 30% lighter through the-efficient use of steel. Primary framing members are tapered varying depth built-up plate sections with large depths in the areas of highest stress.

+ Secondary members are light gage (light weight) cold formed (low labor cost) “Z” – or “C” shaped members. Z purlins / girts can be lapped.

+ Lapping reduces the deflection, and allows double thickness at the points of higher stresses (support points)

Erection Simplicity

+ The column and rafter components of PB are I beams which are linked by bolts and braced by simple bracing systems. So the erection process is fast, step by step, easy to install and require minimum heavy equipment.

+ In particular, as the PB column itself is highly stable, we don’t need to use complex as many bracing system as CB.
